Top 10 Reasons on why College is Lit AF

10. The Independence
My dad once said, "College is the best time in your life because you are far enough away from your parents to not listen to their rules but you are still on their pay roll." This is literally the truest statement I know because even though I am paying for thing here and part of my tuition I still get help from my parents when it comes to making ends meet and food. And even though I am getting their help I am mostly on my own when I am halfway across the country and I have to make decisions that  benefit me and my academic performance at college.

9. The People
High school is so typically main stream but when you leave home and move into dorms you meet so many different people who challenge your views and make you into a more well rounded person. Even if you don't believe in everything you here you are forced to stop and think about how they see things in the world and it you do apply it to you and your life.

8.Your Major
Even though you will probably change your major 5 million times, being able to finally study what you want motivates you to do so much more because this will one day be your life. To think that you could one day be the face of your desired field of study is always a great thought too.

7. Boys
Coming from an all girls school boys were an absolute must for me in college. To think that when I was in HS and I actually worried about not knowing enough boys! Not that I am a hoe or anything, but I am honestly surprised I have not gotten mono or any other illness from all of he boys I have swapped spit with. Ooops.

6. The Campus Life
You go from seeing your friends during school and when you make plans to seeing them literally everyday. There is rarely any down time but also just enough if you know how to schedule right. You are always busy and to think that at any given moment you might have a crazy experience that you will tell over and over again because this is your college experience.

5. Frats
Frats equal free booze and who doesn't love free stuff? Before coming to college I rarely drank and only went to one HS party (I know, lame), but I am literally having the time of my life every weekend whether at a frat or a bar or just hanging with my friends every weekend is LIT AF.

4. The Dorms
Now the dorms suck but they are really a way of life. I do live in the cheapest and crappiest dorms on campus but I wouldn't have it any other way. The community showers suck but they make you so much more grateful whenever you go home. Also, the community I live in is awesome with so many vibrant people. Even the people who are weird AF make my dorm a dorm worth living in. Between the mold in our vents and effing awesome RA 9th floor in the Dirty O is great.

3. Clothes
Being at college the clothing style is v different. While going to classes I try to look as homeless as possible with an over size T-shirt and shorts. But on the weekends, it's time to look like a freaking goddess. Putting on tight pants that show off your ass and push-up bras to help the girls out and then you are ready for the night. Remember, it is always okay to make-out with a guy and dance with him as long as he buys you a free drink.

2. Your Sisters
If your campus has Greek Life join now. I love my sisters so much it is unreal. Being apart of a sorority helped me make friends when I knew no one and am far away from home. You have automatic friends and even the girls that you are not to found of are some of the funniest and greatest people you will meet.

1. Your Partners in Crime
You make so many friends in college but you always know who is going to go out with you on the weekends. These people hold a special place in your heart because they are always there for you and vice versa. Remember what they always say, people who get drunk together stay together!

PSA: I am not an alcoholic! I know this may seem like I am but I really do not get drunk that often and when I am I always have people around me that I trust to help me get home and to keep me safe. :)
